Preparation can take place at different stages depending on the helper and placement.

Overseas preparation: Helpers recruited through our overseas partners receive practical training in household work, cooking, infant care, eldercare and language skills.

Agency orientation: We cover employer relations, home and safety matters, personal conduct and what to expect when working in a Singapore household.

Singapore-based training: We sponsor additional training such as CPR + AED and where relevant, specialist infant or elder care training with qualified instructors. Training may take place before or after placement, depending on the programme, placement and availability.

One-to-one home eldercare training: For eligible CTG-supported eldercare placements, we can arrange personalised training in the care recipient's home, conducted by a qualified nurse. Learn More
